HeatSight Optics 2-Year Limited Warranty

At HeatSight Optics, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our thermal imaging products. To ensure your satisfaction and peace of mind, we offer a 2-Year Limited Warranty on defects or manufacturer issues.


Warranty Coverage

Duration: Our 2-Year Limited Warranty covers your HeatSight Optics product for a period of two years from the original date of purchase.
Defects in Materials and Workmanship: This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions.
Manufacturer Issues: Any issues arising from the manufacturing process that affect the performance or functionality of your product are covered under this warranty.

Batteries: Batteries are subject to a separate warranty, which covers them for a period of one year.


What’s Included

Repair or Replacement: If your product is found to be defective due to materials or workmanship, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace the product free of charge.
Customer Support: Our dedicated customer support team is here to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have regarding your product and the warranty process.


How to Claim

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer support team via phone or email to initiate a warranty claim. Provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
  2. Evaluation: We will evaluate your claim and may request that you send the product to us for inspection.
  3. Repair or Replacement: If the product is deemed defective, we will repair or replace it and return it to you as quickly as possible.

Exclusions

  • Normal Wear and Tear: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or damage caused by misuse, abuse, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Accidental Damage: Damage resulting from accidents, neglect, or improper handling is not covered under this warranty.
  • Unauthorized Repairs: Any repairs or modifications carried out by unauthorized personnel will void the warranty.

Extended Warranty Program

For added peace of mind, HeatSight Optics offers an Extended Warranty Program with three tiers, allowing you to extend your product coverage beyond the initial 2-year limited warranty. Each tier is priced as a percentage of the unit's original cost.

Tier 1: 1-Year Extension20% of Unit Cost

  • Extends warranty coverage to 3 years.

Tier 2: 2-Year Extension25% of Unit Cost

  • Extends warranty coverage to 4 years.

Tier 3: 3-Year Extension30% of Unit Cost

  • Extends warranty coverage to 5 years.

How to Purchase the Extended Warranty

  • Post-Purchase: Purchase the extended warranty within 60 days of the original purchase date by contacting our customer support team with proof of purchase.

HTI-TPM Thermal Scopes - 30-Day Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of HTI-TPM Thermal Scopes. If for any reason you are not, we offer a 30-day return policy subject to the following terms:

  1. Eligibility for Returns:
    To qualify for a return, the HTI-TPM Thermal Scope must be in new and unused condition. The product must be returned in its original packaging with all accessories, documentation, and components included.

  2. Return Period:
    You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

  3. Refund Process:
    Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, we will issue a full refund if the scope is verified to be in new, unused condition and in the original packaging.

  4. Restocking Fee:
    Under certain circumstances, a 10% restocking fee may be applied. This fee may be assessed in cases such as:

    • Packaging is damaged or incomplete.
    • Minor signs of use or handling are present.
    • Other conditions deemed necessary after inspection.
  5. Non-Returnable Conditions:
    Items showing significant wear, damage, or missing parts due to customer handling will not be eligible for a refund.

  6. Return Shipping:
    The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the product was received damaged or defective. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for items lost during return transit.

  7. Processing Time:
    Please allow 7-10 business days for your return to be processed after we receive the product. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
